Resolute Death is neither a cozy nor sentimental mystery. It includes elements that some readers may find difficult.
Sex/Nudity: On page consensual heterosexual sex scenes; brief homophobia and nonbinary phobia; references to and descriptions of erotic videos.
Violence: A depiction of a murder and descriptions of several other murders; mention of animal abuse and killing; and a brief description and mention of a video that shows the actual killing of a person.
Trauma: An ongoing theme of the Osley College series is the slow healing of trauma. Characters are broken in different ways due to post-traumatic stress, complex grieving, suicidal ideation; death of a partner or spouse; or failures in life choices or decisions. Brief descriptions of PTSD moments: a 9-11 attack flashback and a memory of an attempted suicide.
